This policy covers our website, pureplaystudios.net. Each of our games has its own privacy policy, linked from that game's page on this site.

The short version

We collect very little. If you write to us through the contact form or by email, we receive the name, email address and message you send, and we use them only to answer you. Our website host, Squarespace, keeps basic visitor statistics for us. We do not sell your information, we do not use it for advertising, and our site carries no advertising trackers.

What we collect

• When you use the contact form: your first and last name, your email address and your message. Squarespace delivers the message to us by email and keeps a copy in our Squarespace account.
• When you email us: your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write.
• When you visit any page: like every website, our host receives technical information your browser sends, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page that sent you here and the pages you view. Squarespace uses it to run the site and to give us visitor statistics, such as how many people visited and which pages they viewed. We see these statistics as totals and do not use them to identify anyone.

Please do not send payment details, passwords or government identification numbers through the form or by email. We do not need them and will never ask for them.

Cookies

Squarespace sets a small number of cookies on our site. One protects the contact form against forged submissions. Others let Squarespace count visits and tell new visitors from returning ones for our statistics. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use cookies to follow you to other websites. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works, though the contact form may need its security cookie to send.

Services that help run the site

• Squarespace hosts the site, delivers contact form messages and provides our visitor statistics, under the Squarespace Privacy Policy.
• Google reCAPTCHA checks contact form submissions to block spam. It may collect information about your device and how you use the form, under the Google Privacy Policy and Google Terms of Service.
• Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on our pages. Your browser requests them from Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
• Apple: our game pages show Apple's "Download on the App Store" badge, which your browser loads from Apple, and link to the App Store. What happens on the App Store is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.

How we use your information

We use what you send us only to answer your message and handle any follow up, and we use technical information only to run and protect the site. We do not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the services listed above, as needed to run the site, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your message only as long as we need it to answer you and handle any follow up. You can ask us to delete it at any time. Squarespace keeps visitor statistics under its own retention rules.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by writing to info@pureplaystudios.net. We will answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live, such as California or the European Union, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for it, and our site does not change how it works when it receives one. Because the site has no advertising trackers, nothing on it follows you across other websites.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

Our site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and Squarespace protects the information it holds for us. No way of sending information over the internet is perfectly secure, so please keep sensitive details out of your messages.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.
